Remake of the movie Salainen Agent Vanhainkodissa (2020)
Story
Charles, a retired man, gets a new lease on life when he answers an ad for a private investigator and becomes a mole in an undercover investigation at a nursing home. I’m 67 and it was so wonderful to see so many of our generation of actors and their great comedic styles.
That’s okay because you have a pretty good idea who the culprit is about halfway through
These actors only get better with age and have a great cast in this sweet comedy series! The script gets a little lost trying to solve the mystery and gets deeper with the characters’ stories.
It really isn’t a mystery
You don’t mind that it’s not really a mystery because you’re just having fun watching these golden old ladies do their thing and show off. Just a recognition of how brave it is to be a senior citizen and still be active and feel seen in our youth-centric society.
Thank you for giving me a great Saturday where I enjoyed watching this series!
What a sweet tribute to those who support us and help us navigate the minefields of aging this series was.
